70cl / 38.00% - An Italian Sambuca from Zanin; ideal for fans of all things anise. Taking inspiration from historic recipes; reinterpreted to suit modern tastes; Zanin begins by infusing a selection of botanicals in strong alcohol for several weeks to extract their flavour. After maceration; the likes of star anise; green anise; fennel seeds; eucalyptus; mint; wormwood; and pepper are distilled and then blended with alcohol; sugar; and water. The liqueur is then rested for several days before filtering and bottling.
