Embark on some culinary creativity with a canine twist, with YOKO’s Healthy Dog Treat Making Workshop. The ideal class for the conscientious dog owner, you’ll explore the variety of organic ingredients that you can use at home to make simple, healthy dog treats. You’ll be given a recipe to follow, but you’re welcome to get as creative as you like! Half of your mixture will be rolled and cut during the workshop, ready to be dehydrated at the studio and posted to you, whilst the other half will be sent home, ready to bake in the oven. Your workshop will last approximately 1 hour 30 minutes and includes a healthy juice. What's Included? On arrival at the newly refurbished Boiler House on London’s famous Brick Lane, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your tutor for the duration of the class. Your workshop will take place on the mezzanine area, a permanent, sustainable lifestyle destination for the conscientious consumer. You’ll be learning about the wide range of nutritious ingredients that you can use at home to make healthy dog treats, as well as the benefits of core ingredients and the ones you should avoid. You’ll be introduced to the brand and the ethos behind it, before getting into choosing your ingredients. Whilst there’s a standard recipe to follow, you’re free to substitute ingredients and get as creative as possible, allowing you to create bespoke treats for your dog depending on their needs. Half of your mixture will be rolled out and cut to be dehydrated at the studio and sent to you the following week. The other half will be sent home, ready to bake in the oven. Your class lasts 1 hour 30 minutes and includes a healthy drink. Participant guidelines Minimum age: 11 (Under 16s must be accompanied by a full paying adult) If you would like to bring your dog then they will be happy to accommodate. However, please bear in mind that your dog will be your responsibility throughout the whole class so it may be easier to take someone to look after your dog Maximum number of participants: 10 The treats made in the workshop will be posted to any UK based address The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary Availability Vouchers are valid for 9 months from the date of issue. The experience is available on selected Saturdays and Sundays February to August. Exclusions will apply. We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability. Please allow 1 hour 30 minutes for the full experience. What should I wear? You are advised to wear any clothing that's practical for baking (no open-toed shoes). An apron and gloves will be provided. Additional information Toilet facilities available on site. What about insurance? The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence. A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
