This Filter has been designed to sit on top of the grease filter of a STAND600 extractor fan by Cookology. The Carbon filter helps cleans the gases from cooking such as smoke and smells, before your cooker hood recirculates the air back into the kitchen. This saves you having to have a hole in your kitchen wall to vent the hood outside. Filters need changing depending on use, typically they should last 3-9 months. Please note these filters are the new STANDFILT100 model. They will fit both the new and old STAND600 models. Carbon filters are designed to remove smells from Cooking, they cannot absorb steam and you should continue using cooking best practice methods such as using an appropriate lid when boiling water.
